My poor love had his 2 month set of vaccinations yesterday. I had to step out of the room before they started...I just couldn't take it. Robert stayed to hold him for the nurse. We had never heard him cry like that before, it was horrid. At least now we know what he sounds like when he's in real pain. I held him afterwards until he fell asleep. When he woke up a few hours later he was unconsolable so I gave him another dose of baby Tylenol. Again I held him until he fell asleep. Thank God he woke up without pain this morning....all smiles and cooing!

I too, remember the first time Rio had his vaccinations. A look of adoration and trust instantly changed to one of betrayal. Ahhh, that was when I knew I had become a father.
