Sebastian's visit with Auntie Cheri and his nino and nina was great! I think he loves all the attention he gets.

One thing I wish Sebastian would do at this point is take a pacifier. We've bought about 8 different kinds of pacifiers trying to find one he'd like but he'll have none of them. He spits them right out. Every now and then he'll suck on his hand but mostly he just wants me. I'm his big pacifier.

Ok…I know that I’m not a mother nor do I ever expect to be but I did volunteer at the Holy Cross Maternity Center when in college and learned a couple of things or two for starters let Sebastian set the pace if he’s not interested in the pacifier or like we Puerto Ricans describe it “El Bobo” try again later or simply skip it entirely. Don’t force the issue. Wait until breast-feeding is well established and for God sake… Be patient it may take weeks or more to settle into a regular nursing routine. Remember breast feeding is recommended because breastfed children have fewer ear infections, lower respiratory infections and urinary tract infections than formula-fed children; the above mentioned is quoted from the Mayo clinic site…I don’t want you to think that I’m a brainiac…any how…if you’re tired of being a big old Bobo. Wait to introduce a pacifier when Sebastian is a month old or more then again, he’s practically in 1st grade by now lol.
